There are some faces and voices that just stick with you, aren't there? You know, those folks who popped up on your television screen, usually late at night or on a lazy weekend afternoon, trying to tell you about the next big thing. For a good stretch of time, from the very late 1990s right through the early 2000s, one particular product presenter, a person named Billy Mays, was, you know, just about everywhere you looked on the television. He was really trying to get you to consider household items and little inventions that he swore would make your daily living, well, a whole lot simpler. It's almost like he was a part of the furniture in your living room, appearing so often.
